Dr. Gosnell Arrested for Murdering 7 Babies Who Survived Abortion – A Practice Barack Obama Supports & Has Voted For 4 Times Audio | The Gateway Pundit

I work with a little boy who was born five months early. We celebrated his second birthday yesterday.
His smile lights up the room.
Though he has a few developmental delays, he sees, hears, talks with, runs, laughs, cries, and plays with the other children. He is devoted to his family and loves his teachers. We continue to see amazing progress in his development and abilities.
I am humbled to be near him each day

Introduction to a crisis pregnancy…

By idaflo | January 16th, 2011 | No Comments »

Painting called A World of Their OwnFirst, a Dragnet Disclaimer: The stories are true, though the names have been changed.

It was 11:30 last Friday night. My phone signaled me that a text had been received; I noted it was from Amy, my co-worker.  She said she had just discovered that she was pregnant. I was not surprised, we’d been discussing the possibility at work earlier in the day.

So, yet another young life begins in the womb of a single mom.  Though I don’t have an exact count, I think it’s safe to say that 80% of the women I work with are single moms, most never having been married.

It took me back to another crisis pregnancy, eighteen years ago. Read More »

Althouse:…Once again you’ve nailed it about the Obamas

By idaflo | January 14th, 2011 | No Comments »

Thank you Ann Althouse. Once again you’ve nailed it.

Ann Althouse

Althouse: Michelle Obama’s lesson from the Tucson massacre: Teach your children “the value of tolerance – the practice of assuming the best, rather than the worst, about those around us.”.

Shouldn’t we learn to be perceptive, analytical, and aware that some of the individuals among us are, in fact, mentally sick and need something other than tolerance and wishful thinking about how good they might be? So why is the First Lady telling us to teach kids the opposite?….(continues HERE)

Krauthammer vs. Limbaugh; Pep Rally or Memorial Service? on Vimeo

With all due respect to Charles…The President could have called for quiet, but he did not. Just as in the five days preceding this, he could have acted the statesmen and called for a ceasefire from the media as they immediately politicized the tragedy. But he did not.

From Darkness to Divahood | Robin of Berkeley

By idaflo | January 1st, 2011 | No Comments »

Robin of Berkeley is my favorite (former liberal and now conservative) warrior, honest and exposing Truth…even as she seeks to deepen her understanding of her new Christian faith in God.

I post her often.  I will continue to do so, as her writings continue to emerge.

God bless you Robin.  You are a gift.

8 Ways Fascist Feminists Are Ruining America’s Women

By idaflo | November 6th, 2010 | No Comments »

by Cassy Fiano (Originally published 8-2-2010)

American women have some of the best lives in the world. We can literally do whatever we want. American women can go to school where we want, we can go to college, we can work wherever we want, we can marry whoever we want, and we can choose to lead whatever kind of life we want to lead. Millions of women in oppressed countries around the world cannot even imagine the freedom that American women so enjoy — and take for granted. We’ve come a long way in less than one hundred short years, but a lot of women can’t see that. Read More »
