American held in Iran says loneliness hardest part

The kids may be lonely, but what the moms are going through negotiating with Iran, that’s torture.

This is a situation, where is one was well-read, or had a recollection of music and poetry, recalling and reciting such things could bring great comfort and a sense of sanity in all the gloom and uncertainty.

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) – One of three Americans jailed in Iran says the loneliness of captivity is the hardest part in the first public comments from the trio since their arrest in July.

Iranian authorities arrested Sarah Shourd, her boyfriend Shane Bauer and their friend, Josh Fattal along the Iraqi border some 10 months ago. Iran has accused them of spying….(continue reading here)
