This story is not only inspiring and encouraging. Life teaches us lessons about limits, and some of those lessons are harsh. But it’s best not to draw lines around what is possible too quickly.
Rather we focus on what needs to be done and then go to work. She may have felt vulnerable concerning her safety and did what any other person is encouraged to do…learn to make your body a weapon of self defense, in spite of her arms, legs, and the pain involved. Imagine the confidence in her walk and the incredible increase in coordination.
